Message from Organizing Committee

Dear Athletes,
Thank you all for your unwavering efforts and dedicated training, which have yielded remarkable achievements over the past decade. You have not only consistently participated and shone brightly in numerous competitions, including the Asian Masters Championships and World Masters Championships, but you’ve also pushed your personal boundaries to secure outstanding results, top placements, medals, and repeatedly broken regional records. More importantly, you’ve built a mature and cohesive team, earning the friendship and respect of athletes from participating countries and regions, while embodying the roles of sports and tourism ambassadors.
Throughout this time, you’ve also shared the spirit of sports by serving visually and intellectually impaired individuals in our community. By launching training programs, you’ve enabled people from all walks of life to engage in athletics, strengthen their bodies, and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
Finally, I extend my deepest gratitude to all committee members and colleagues. Through collective brainstorming and perseverance, you’ve organized the Masters Athletics Championships for many years, making invaluable contributions along the way.
Looking ahead, we already possess solid experience in hosting large-scale events, with over a thousand participants and spectators having joined and observed competitions across various locations in the past. As facilities continue to improve, transportation hubs grow more accessible, and the government actively promotes recreational activities like hiking and cross-country running, I believe that by gathering talents from every corner, we can successfully bid to host Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area national-level events—or even the Asian Masters Championships—right here in Hong Kong, transforming it together into a premier hub for sporting spectacles.
