The Story of Hong Kong Masters Athletics Championships 2025 Medal

  1. The torch symbolizes the Hong Kong Masters Athletics Championships’ ability to pass on the flame from generation to generation. This competition is also regarded by the public as the “martial arts sacred fire” that stands proudly above all others.
  2. Lion Rock represents the Hong Kong people’s spirit of hard work, perseverance, unwavering determination in everything they do, and never giving up.
  3. The sailing boat is a fishing vessel from the last century, tracing back to Hong Kong’s development since its opening as a port. It represents the Hong Kong people’s arduous journey, fearless of wind and rain, riding the waves and breaking through storms, often swimming against the current.
  4. The Hong Kong Clock Tower was once an extremely popular meeting place and gathering point, guarding one of the important hubs of land transportation. The punctual mechanical clock that rings loud and clear reviews the bustling Victoria Harbour every day. Looking at the great clock from afar feels like entering a time tunnel.
  5. The tram has been a consistently used mode of transportation in Hong Kong from the last century until today. It runs on tracks, reflecting a regulated rhythm of life.
  6. The Bauhinia blakeana is a flower that resembles Hong Kong. Its five petals complement and echo the motherland’s peaceful rise, with the five stars flying solemnly and majestically, spreading sunshine and Chinese culture.
  7. The Tsing Ma Bridge witnesses Hong Kong’s modernization and entry into a new era.

To commemorate the 10th HKMAC, a souvenir medal is available for purchase at HK$80 per piece on a pre-order basis only. Please submit your order and payment with your HKMAC entries. The medals will be available for collection at Wan Chai Sportsground during HKMAC.
